As one who can no longer travel I was wondering if some or all of the sessions are going to be recorded and possibly made available to members later? Or will there be any hybrid sessions that an oldie can participate in by zoom? I had hoped to come, but my situation at home does not allow me to leave for four days. Thank you. 5/3/2023 11:58:26 pm
Christa, you ask a question that others have wondered, but the HNA home page does say that our 2023 HNA conference is indeed an in-person event, with no hybrid or other options. We made this decision, to not offer Zoom viewing or recordings, because we felt having those options would reduce our in-person attendance. In addition, setting up cameras, paying for technically proficient staff to monitor the cameras for each event, renting all the equipment, and managing videos is far beyond what our volunteer staff can handle on top of all the other responsibilities. Our budget is very tight and we need to reach at least a minimum level of attendance to make the in-person event financially viable. We recognize that not everyone can attend in-person conferences, but this has been true for HNA for 30+ years (except 2021). We're sorry that this is disappointing. Leave a Reply. |
