Jackson's Garden has eight acres of formal gardens and woodland, situated on the north side of the campus. Begun in the 1830's, it is the oldest cultivated garden on a college campus in the United States. After the slideshow below, there is a collage featuring Jackson's Garden in the Autumn.
The large gingko tree near the entrance to the Garden is much loved, and a favorite spot for special events or just an easy climb for tree-sitting. You can take a 13-minute walk through the Garden via YouTube.
