June 28 to July 2, 2023
The 2023 Haiku North America conference will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio, a sparkling Queen City in a Midwestern state known for vibrant urban centers, beautiful agrarian countryside, and a rich history of innovation. Juxtapositions between rural and urban offer a compelling geography in which to explore English-language haiku and related genres. HNA 2023 invites proposals for presentations inspired by these inherent dualities—contemplating these spaces and traversing their boundaries.
The Tanka Society of America will also organize a tanka day on July 3, 2023 at the same location.
