Silent Auction

Picture
updateThe Silent Auction is an opportunity for you to contribute to Haiku North America in a personal way.

Please consider bringing an item (or items) to be donated to the Silent Auction. For example, anything that might be valued or enjoyed by others in the haiku community...rare or unique haiku books, items reflecting your home region, original art. Use your imagination and be creative!

update (Oct. 10, 2015): The Silent Auction will take place in elegant and conveniently-located Hale House Dining Hall (see photo below), which will also house our Haikai Free Items Table, with offerings from our haiku friends; and where snacks and meals will be served. The Silent Auction will be open for bidding, when Hale House is open, from Thursday morning through 4:50 Saturday afternoon (buses depart for the Desmond at 5 PM from the nearby Old Chapel traffic circle).

Winning bids will be announced at the Saturday evening banquet, at which time winners can claim their prizes and make their payments (in cash or by check only please).

All funds raised in the Silent Auction will be applied to future Haiku North America gatherings and will help us to keep the costs of attendance as reasonable as possible.
