Union College Professor Hilary Tann introduces us to the 2015 Conference, the College and the Autumn Term, in a most instructive 4-minute video available at the following link:  http://vimeo.com/70412358

We'll be opening HNA 2015 at the Town Hall of the Desmond Hotel, Wednesday evening, October 14; hold presentations, work shops, performances and more at the Union College campus; and close the Conference at The Desmond, with our banquet Saturday evening, October 17, and Sunday morning activities.

So, "home" is The Desmond, and "school" is Union College.

The Desmond is only 10 miles from Union College.  We'll be running a trolley service to and from the Desmond Thursday through Saturday. Click here for a Google Map showing the drive between the hotel and the College.

The Desmond is minutes from Albany Airport (with a 24/7 free shuttle) and it's next to the Northway [I-87], just off the Mass pike and NY Thruway, with lots of parking.

Find out more about the Desmond on our Accommodations Page. For example, our Desmond reception area has a koi pond.
