Thank you to all who submitted haibun for consideration for the HNA 2023 Haibun Film Festival. Judges Jim Kacian and Jennifer Hambrick selected haibun from the submission pool and sent them to Moving Poems, which partnered with us on this venture. Those poems were submitted to filmmakers for consideration, resulting in 9 films. Some of the poems submitted to Moving Poems did not become films, and some filmmakers decided to make a film on the same haibun.
The resulting films will be premiered at Haiku North America and then published on the Moving Poems website.
