Welcome to Haiku North America!
Haiku North America (HNA) is the largest and oldest gathering of haiku poets in the United States and Canada. There are no membership fees and HNA provides breaking news and interaction at the HNA blog. All haiku poets and interested parties are welcome. It is a long weekend of papers, panels, workshops, readings, performances, book sales, and much socialization with fellow poets, translators, scholars, editors, and publishers. Both established and aspiring haiku poets are welcome. HNA conferences take place every two years.
Haiku North America 2017 will be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
Haiku North America 2015 was held October 14–18, 2015, at Union College in Schenectady, New York, and The Albany Desmond Hotel. The theme was autumn term. The Route 9 Haiku Group, composed of Yu Chang, Tom Clausen, John Stevenson and Hilary Tann, with the assistance of David Giacalone on the website and with camera, constituted the local organizing committee.
You will find scores of photos from the Union College campus by visiting the HNA Weblog, where you will also find the HNA Twitter Feed. And, check out our Facebook Page.
