The official conference hotels for HNA 2011 are the MarQueen Hotel and the Inn at Queen Anne. Both hotels are located within easy walking distance of the conference meeting facility at the Northwest Rooms of Seattle Center. Please note that due to their historic natures, neither hotel has an elevator, but hotel staff will be available to help carry luggage upstairs if necessary. Amenities near both hotels include a 24-hour grocery store and numerous restaurants, a bookstore, record store, and more. Guests at both hotels may use the meeting rooms at the MarQueen will also be available to us for late-night socializing and renku-writing sessions, and also use the outdoor courtyard at the Inn at Queen Anne for socializing.

The MarQueen Hotel

The MarQueen Hotel is located at 600 Queen Anne Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109. This is two blocks from the conference facility. The fancier of the two hotels, the MarQueen offers spacious guest rooms with hardwood floors, period furnishings, dine-in kitchens, noise-abatement windows, and air conditioning. Complimentary services include continental breakfast, wireless Internet, weekday newspaper service, and overnight shoe-shine. Caffe Ladro, a popular espresso bar and bakery, is directly accessible from the ground floor of the hotel during business hours.

Rates:
The single/double occupancy rates from August 3 to August 7, 2011 are $145 a night for a deluxe king bed or two queen beds, plus a 9.5% sales tax. These rates are also available if you arrive earlier or stay later. Suites are also available at a special rate. The fee for a third or additional adult is $15 a night, and valet parking is available for $25 a night.

The Inn at Queen Anne

The Inn at Queen Anne is located at 505 1st Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109. This hotel is diagonally across the street from the conference meeting facility at Seattle Center. The more modestly priced of the two HNA hotels, the Inn at Queen Anne offers comfortable guest rooms with kitchenettes, complimentary wireless Internet, and air conditioning. The hotel also features an English garden courtyard.

The single/double occupancy rates from August 3 to August 7, 2011 are $85 a night for a queen bed, queen and twin bed, or two twin beds, plus a 15.6% sales and room tax. These rates are also available if you arrive earlier or stay later. The fee for a third or additional adult is $10 a night, and self-parking is $15 a night.
