HNA 2023 Haibun Film Festival

Thursday, June 29, 2023, 4:00 pm

Partnering with Moving Poems, an expanding online archive of poetry videos, Haiku North America is showcasing a haibun film festival on Thursday afternoon of the conference.

Thank you to all who submitted haibun for consideration.  All submissions were evaluated anonymously by our haibun judges, Jim Kacian and Jannifer Hambrick, then sent to Moving Poems.  Not all haibun selected by the haibun judges were made into films.  Dave Bonts, HNA's partner for the Film Fesstival has announced the nine films selelected by filmmakers to make into films at the Moving Poems website.
