Stevenson writes, "It can be helpful if key words and phrases of a haiku are the essence of more words. While haiku is not a narrative form, the extraction and refinement of resonance from a narrative is one method of offering an affecting poem. This workshop will use Playback Theatre exercises. No theatre experience is needed but we will be on our feet and sometimes moving around the room for most of our time together."
Stevenson is currently the managing editor of The Heron's Nest. He has twenty years of experience as a group leader and Playback Theatre performer.
