Overview

A Yahoo! group is a free service that enables you to share email, photos, and other information with the members of a group. We created the Haiku North America Forum on Yahoo! to encourage the exchange of news and ideas or special needs relating to the next HNA conference.

Then post your question or comment to the HNA forum! We encourage your active participation to help make the HNA event better for everyone.

Get a Yahoo! User ID and Password

You must have a Yahoo! user ID and password in order to join the Haiku North America Forum. Here is one way to get a Yahoo! user ID and password—if you don't have them already.

  1. Click this link to go to Yahoo! Groups page: http://groups.yahoo.com.

  2. On the Yahoo! Groups page, select the Click here to register link in the left column. A Yahoo! ID sign-up page displays.

  3. Fill out the sign-up page and submit the form.

  4. Respond to other instructions from Yahoo! as needed.

At the end of the sign-up process for Yahoo!, you will have a Yahoo! user ID and password.

Join the Haiku North America Forum

After you have a Yahoo! user ID and password, you can join the Haiku North America Forum. Here is one way to join the group.

  1. Click this link to go to the Web page for the Haiku North America Forum: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hnaforum/.

  2. On the Web page for the Forum, click the button that says Join This Group! The Sign In page is displayed.

  3. On the Sign In page, enter your Yahoo! user ID and password, then click Sign In. The Join This Group page is displayed.

  4. Select the desired membership options and provide other information as requested.

  5. When ready, save your changes. The Membership Pending page is displayed. Email is sent to the moderator for the Haiku North America Forum.

  6. Within a few days, you will receive an email from the moderator, saying that you are now a member of the Haiku North America Forum.

Send Email to the Forum

After you have joined the Haiku North America Forum, you can send email to the group. Use this email address:

The email address above won't work unless you have joined the Haiku North America Forum.

Read Email Archives, Post Photos...

After you have joined the Haiku North America Forum, you could follow these steps to view email archives, post photos, and do other wonderful things.

  1. Click this link to go to the Web page for the Haiku North America Forum: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hnaforum/.

  2. On the Web page for the Forum, click one of the Sign In links. The Sign In page is displayed.

  3. On the Sign In page, in the box for Yahoo! users, enter your Yahoo! user ID and password, then click Sign In. The Haiku North America Forum page is displayed.

  4. See the box on the right that includes links to Home, Messages, and so on? Click the appropriate link and respond to the prompts to post a message, add photos, and do other tasks.
