Setting out with Carolyn Hall (black scarf), Ruth Yarrow (red jacket), and D. Claire Gallagher.

One of Carolyn's haiku was selected by the editors of The Heron's Nest as the Poem of the Year for 2004. She is also one of the editors for the Red Moon Anthology, an annual anthology of haiku from Red Moon Press.

Ruth is a long-time haiku poet, environmentalist, and peace activist. She is one of our best readers of haiku, as she proved again in her solo reading and in the group performance, Haiku: The Four Elements.

Claire is a widely-published haiku poet and is the editor-in-chief of Mariposa, the journal of the Haiku Poets of Northern California.
