Fortune Cookie Haiku Contest
Did you know the fortune cookie was invented in San Francisco? To help celebrate our 2025 conference in the City by the Bay, Haiku North America invites you to submit up to two of your haiku to be printed on fortune cookies. Three poems will be selected, which we’ll share at our welcoming reception. Here’s how you can join the fun
How to Submit
|
All submissions must be your own original unpublished haiku. Previously published works will not be accepted. We do not accept simultaneous submissions.
Poems will be judged by the HNA organizing committee. Three selected haiku will be printed in fortune cookies, with winners announced and distributed at our welcoming reception.
By submitting your work, you grant us permission to use the haiku for the HNA 2025 event and related materials, including on our website. After the conference, all rights revert to selected authors. If you have questions about this contest, or the submission form, please contact Michael Dylan Welch at [email protected].
We look forward to reading your creative one-line haiku and sharing them with attendees at HNA 2025!
